Vintage Car Connection is owned and operated by Ontario based antique vehicle appraiser Allan Lewis:

"I have had the car bug as long as I can remember and at the tender age of fifteen I acquired my first car for painting a neighbour's fence. It was a 1971 Dodge Charger 500 and the year was 1983. Now, 23 years later the Charger is unfortunately gone, but I have had the pleasure of owning a wide variety of vintage cars in the intervening years. My current fleet includes a 1972 Triumph Spitfire and a 1970 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV, both of which I have owned since high school. Newer additions include a 1972 MGB and a 1918 Chevrolet 490 Touring. My "daily driver" is an all wheel drive 1988 BMW 325iX, a collectible in its own right. Car's from my past include several vintage Mustangs, an original paint 1953 International R110 pick-up and a 1969 Lincoln Continental. I also had the pleasure of working in a shop that specialized in Bricklin service back in the 1980's.

Why have I started this site? As an appraiser I spend countless hours surfing the net looking at cars for sale. Classifieds sites seem to fall into two categories. Excellent sites that are expensive or mediocre sites that are cheap or free . My goal was to create and maintain a vintage car specific classifieds site that is both excellent and free for users to use.  I simply did not see the reason why this could not be done - perhaps I'll learn that in time!

I am also distressed by the amount of scammers using sites such as this to steal from enthusiasts. With my ban on free E-mail account registrations I hope I have created a site that is at least above average in terms of deterring the scammers from abusing this service.
